Goal line Teq

Recommended Posts

Its just been stated on SSN that this will not be introduced in Football full stop, This only confirms what I have been saying for a long time and that is the FA officials are bent and this decision is another wonge one in the long line of bad decisions, how can they demand respect.

I dont get why they cannt put the little cameras they have in cricket stumps in the posts and have the 4th offical take a look at a monitor!

Good decision by FIFA IMO.  Without all these big confusions and debates football would become boring.  Keep as much technology out of the game as possible.

And perhaps we should get rid of those annoying TV cameras as well - I''m sure they would like that?I totally agree that any technology in the game needs to be strongly governed and the rules need to be the same no matter where a team is in the football pyramid, but I can''t really see any argument against using goal-line technology wherever it''s available; just a subtle beep in the officals'' ears when the ball''s crossed the line is all it needs. It won''t slow the game down, the only thing it can possibly do is remove errors like the Crystal Palace one early in the season.
