Christmas depression!

Recommended Posts

Working in Bury, I have the misfortune to come across a few people of the ''blue rinse'' variety and received this in my emails yesterday.

It''s actually quite good (for them) but depressing to think of the possibility that 25000 or so could be trying to sing this on the last Saturday before christmas at Portaloo Road. For gods sake don''t leak it to Look East, that Ian Winter binner would have a field day!!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I saw this, and thought of you - it is from an Ipswich fan of course. Please sing along to the Band Aid ''Feed the World'' song.......

All together now...............

RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!

I posted this, in this forum on 24.11.2004

Obviously to the tune of feed the world.

It''s Christmas time,
The Blues are so afraid,
It''s Christmas time,
They''ve got to keep winning games they play.

But in our yellow world of plenty,
Worthy spreads a smile of joy.
Throw your arms around a Blue,
At Christmas time.

But say a prayer,
Pray for the blue and whites.
At Christmas time...it''s hard,
When your team are playing shite.

There''s a world outside your window,
And it''s a world of Royle''s fear.
Where the only water flowing,
Is whining Fabian''s tears.
And Dailly''s play-off finish was the clanging of doom,
Well tonight thank Sheepshanks it''s them...instead of you.

And there won''t be many points for them this Christmas time,
The greatest gift they''ll get this year''s a draw.
Where no pass ever goes, No flick or long-ball flows,
Do they know it''s Christmas time at all?

(Here''s to us)
We''ll stay up at Carrow Road.
(Here''s to them)
Getting beat by Rotherham.
Do they know it''s Christmas time at all?

Feed the Blues (Let them stay in Coca-Cola)
Feed The Blues (Let them stay in Coca-Cola)
Feed The Blues (Let them stay in Coca-Cola)
