Peter 0 Posted December 9, 2004 A 26,000 attendance at this monent looks to be short of the figure we can attract at this moment, but the £m it cost to build could look to be an expensive folly if we are relegated this season and fail to get beack at the first attempt.We could well be struggling to fill the ground if in 3 years we are back in Div 1 and plating mediocre football, the feelgood factor is unlikely to survive, just look at the attendances of the late 90''s.That cost invested at the beginning of the season just might have proved our saviour, however Nigel would probably have wasted it.
