Graham Humphrey 13 Posted February 23, 2010 Leeds have got Oldham at home - however I would consider Charlton v Brighton and Swindon v Stockport more important. Surely all three of those will win this evening. We''ve just got to make sure we do likewise.

norfolkchance1 0 Posted February 24, 2010 How many of their last 10 games should have been called off? It must have been wetter than when we played there which would take some doing.

The pitch was a bit better on Saturday but was in a bit of a state after and we have had alot of rain since then and with such a sh*t drainage system it didn''t recover... First Wizard 0 Posted February 24, 2010 Col Who should be docked points because of that pitch, hell, why build a football stadium (ha ha) on clay! It won''t ever drain................ever!
norfolkchance1 0 Posted February 24, 2010 I think they should do something they used to do in cricket and have pitch inspectors to determine the quality of pitches and punish clubs where necessary as too many pitches in the English game are substandard. This is not aimed solely at Colchester although for a new ground to have a pitch in that state is unacceptable IMO.Wigan are another case in the premier league, it is wrong that clubs are allowing rugby teams to play on pitches the studs are far longer and therefore with all the scrums and mauls etc the pitches are always going to be the worse for wear.
