Our lowest attendance has been higher than all but Leeds'' + Southampton''s highest attendances... Not to mention the difference between highest and lowest being the smallest in the league.

That is terrible. But playing devils advocate. How big would our attendances be if we were in the middle of a third season in league one?

Interesting that Leeds feature heavilly in other teams largest gates of the season.

Is that because fans of other teams see them as a better attraction than us or because they take more away fans than us??

Fair play to them - credit where it''s due - to take large numbers away to those places when in your 3rd season in League 1 aint half bad.

In their defence apparently Bates switched the game to a caregory A game 10 days ago (for Oldham) something he has done a few times in contrary to what was initially issued in programmes etc. So there was an un-official boycott in protest - I work in Bolton and know of 4 people who were going then didn''t because of this - an adult and junior ticket became £42 which is slightly less than it cost me to take my Dad (oap) and 2 children to Southampton on saturday.

Well I don''t think there''s any doubt that Leeds'' away support is very good indeed.  They do travel in massive numbers.  We can all criticise their home support but away from home you can''t really fault them to be honest.
is  our away support worse than leeds, or do more people like to watch leeds as most of the lower teams'' highest gates have been when playing leeds!
10 games they have been the opposition for the home teams highest gate!

It is also important to remember most of our games are sell out''s so just odd seats dotted about so peaople who want seats together then don''t bother to go.So if we had a capacity of 37k I,m 100% confident our attendance figures would be much much higher.

"Good lad,

But your support was terrible in the Championship division too, you averaged less then than what we do now and still got crowds of 18,000. Your support is so over hyped and you know it. Leeds have a huge fanbase of fickle fans who can''t accept their club for what it is.

Let''s see if you guys pull 37,000 every week for a League One game.

Hey wait...

Ok...lets aim lower and see if you can get 20,000 every week for a League One game...?

Oh...seems you only turn up to see the Huddersfield!

Oh dear oh dear.

There are a few factors you guys are forgetting. Please don''t call me arrogant for this but:

1, more so than with us, a lot of your fans are relatively local. although i am impressed with the diverse locations of some of the fans on here, we still have a countrywide fanbase, who cant travel to 21 home games a season for various reasons. admittedly leeds is bigger, i can''t speak for the northern fans. Would you pull in 38k for a playoff game against millwall, or 30 k for a game at home v exeter? im not sure

2, and sorry guys but, we are all aware of "fairweather fans" but yo forget we are a lot further away from our natural place. Norwich are a solid championship club, 1 division aboove now. no doubt about it, nothing more, nothing less. We are a top half of the table premiership club, 1 and a half divisions below our natural place. unfortunately our sides both reside below where they should be. but calling our fans out now is comparable to you being in the top end of league 2. Lets be fair now guys.

Grounds t$oo big for us? ha, until you could fill it, we''ll keep that below the radar
