Barclay_Boy 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Terry Butcher - Denes High in Lowestoft, very quiet and unassuming actually. Years later he came to pay his respects at my Dad''s funeral, which is probably an strange state of affairs for a City fans such as myself! [:$]
Sideshow Tim 110 Posted March 1, 2010
Chris Sutton, Horsford Middle School 1983-4. Always tall for his age, cocky, big headed but frankly deserved to be. Key memory is of him (as a fourth year) walking round the playground on his knees saying in a squeaky voice "oh look, I''m a first year."
I played in the same team (for 3 games!!) as Chris for Horsford Boys when we were both 14. He was crap. I can remember i lad up front with Chris that was head and shoulders better than him but due to Chris'' dads connection with Dave Stringer it was Chris that got the ''opportunity'' at Norwich. He was quite arrogant then! The next time i saw him was being escorted into a police vehicle in the city centre the night before he signed for Blackburn!!!!! naaarwich fan 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Lenell John-Lewis who plays for Lincoln was 2 years above me at school, also knew Ryan Bennett who plays for Peterborough now, was then at Ipswich but didn''t really talk to him much. Also played school matches against Jack Wilshere, Jonjo Shelvey and Victor Moses all were amazing but remember Shelvey as an arragont so and so, Wilshere was amazing he scored 5 goals to knock us out of national''s 5-4. First Jedi 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Went to school with Matt Gill, but being older, never knew him personally. My younger brother did and played footie with him, but described him as "very mediocre". Plus ca change, eh?
CambridgeCanary 0 Posted March 1, 2010 I didn''t go to school with him but I played occasionally with a boy my age whose grandmother lived next door to mine at Elm Park (east London for those that don''t know it) when we were both visiting at the same time. We would get bored with adult talk and meet in the gardens for football, cars or action men.He was ok and we got on all right but he was a bit bossy. Could be good fun and a good laugh at times especiallly if he got his own way. Became very superior when he became a professional footballer though and we lost touch. His name, Glenn Roeder

(Hellesdon High)
Your mum must be only 26... that must make you very younge? But chris sutton had long left school if she was in his brothers class?
