Well thepinkun plus many at the game say that it was Lappin and Russell standing over the ball at the freekick which led to the Doc''s goal but it was definitely Russell who took it and thus set up the Doc.

You simply cannot replace lappin with macname. In the diamond. They are 2 completely different players.

Smith Russell and Lapps are a massive part of our attacking threat because of the freedom they give to the front 3. The midfield do a lot of donkey work.

Thats another assist for lappin. An underated cog in a well performing wheel.

He didn''t today though CUSP. It was Hoola for the 1st and Rusty for the 2nd.

Agree on rest, they allow the front 3 so much freedom and I don''t think that it is any coincidence that we do score late goals because of the midfield 3 have a high rate of fitness and wear down the opponants.
