Making Plans 957 Posted February 1, 2010 Well, if he does well, scores enough goals to help Celtic overtake Rangers to win the Scottish title, then Mowbray might just, and it''s a big might just, keep his job & we might keep Lambert.
Iceland_Canary 0 Posted February 1, 2010 It''s too bad we lost him to Celtic. CELTIC!!! If we keep on losing players we are after to Celtic we will not get out of this league. No really. Celtic aren''t that good. Half their squad just signed for Middlesborough???Does that leave them Prem class, GUESS NOT!!!

Old Shuck 277 Posted February 1, 2010 Robbie Keane made his full debut against us, for Wolves, 9.8.97, 2 goals, Norwich 0 Wolves 2...Cracking player, sure he can get another club in England, but Celtic=Champions League.Lambert isn''t ready for Celtic job yet. Mowbray achieved more at WBA when they appointed him (a CCC Championship, an FA Cup semi final), as well as taking Hibernian into Europe-thus having some Scottish Prem experience. All of that-and it might not work out at Celtic. No, if he goes, Celtic will look for a bigger name and someone with a lot more experience than Lambo. His time there will come if he maintains his success with us-but that "success" is relative, to all of us, its amazing and we''re loving it-to the rest of football he has taken a club that should be in the Championship and is certainly capable of being in the Premiership, to the toop of League 1. Expected really. His stoick has risen, he has been noted-but he''ll need to do a bit more yet.
