I am a Banana 0 Posted February 1, 2010 in the 2009 january transfer window, a huge £170million was spend - with around half of that money leaving manchester City to other clubs. But one year one, the credit crush has hit clubs hard and they have only managed a ''small'' amount of £30million spend in the 2010 January window. This just shows how much the CC has hit teams in england. Last year the biggest transfer in england ever - robinho - cost more than all of the transfers this year together, and now he has gone out on loan. and been replaced with this years biggest transfer Adam Johnson which is around £6million! source??? - SkySportsNews [;)]

O.T.B.C 1 Posted February 1, 2010 They reckon he is better than Downing, but I''m not sure if he is better than Petrov.
The Fish Seller 0 Posted February 1, 2010 This will come as a bit of a kick in the sphericals for those clubs who were looking to offload players to balance the books but it''s nice to see some of the lunacy fuelled by a select few disappearing nonetheless.
