Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted February 5, 2010 What''s the difference between Cowling and a Toyota? Both are notoriously unreliable and prone to running on when you put your foot down but at least with a Toyota there is some effective recall.

Houston Canary 0 Posted February 5, 2010 The recall from Toyota is not reliable. They tried to bury these problems using bribes, corruption, destruction and falsifying of records, and a general hush-hush atmosphere. People have died because of this. Therefore, upon more than a surface glance, your attempt at humor falls flat.

None recalledFar be it for me to suggest that your argument is not based on fact, but concern for American car makers, who until these problems arose were being beaten hollow by Toyota and Honda in their own back-yard. jammis 0 Posted February 5, 2010 Let''s also clear something up about the problems with Toyota''s vehicles.Toyota may be getting the headlines but the problem part was supplied by CTS a Canadian supplier to the auto industry.WHat this has to do with football I don''t know. Houston Canary 0 Posted February 5, 2010 I''m just telling you what I know about the situation. Toyota cxertainly has NOT been forthcoming about this which is why they are under so much scrutiny now, and backpedaling as fast as possible to save face.Other auto makers get roasted by the press when recalls of this sort happen. NBC actually faked things to make a Ford catch fire for a report they did on a problem with one of the Ford pick-ups. They presented it as real and they themselves got roasted for trying to make the problem look worse that it was.In general, the American media seems to take great pleasure when there are problems for US manufacturers, and now they seem to be downplaying what is happening with Toyota. It makes no sense, since all auto manufacturers are evil Earth destroying money-grubbing corporations. it is so stupid since so many of the "foreign" cars are made here and "domestic" cars made elsewhere.
