ncfc4life 0 Posted February 9, 2010 Just checking is anyone getting the train to the brighton match from London as am going by self so would be good to get on a train with other city fans. Also what station are people going from as they go from both london bridge and victoria. Also found out that you can save a bit of money by booking the train ticket to hayward heath which is the stop before preston park(Preston park is where the ground is by the way). The free train ticket given with the match ticket is valid between heyward heath and preston park so you are paying a bit less for your ticket
John 0 Posted February 9, 2010
what station are people going from as they go from both london bridge and victoria.
I''d imagine Victoria. It''s the only one i''ve ever used when returning from Norwich.
Blofield Canary 11 Posted February 10, 2010 We are getting the 8 o''clock out of Norwich and meeting up with my daughter who is coming down from Leicester. Meeting up at London Bridge to get the train down to Hayward Heath. London Bridge tickets were cheaper than Victoria.
Matt Juler 148 Posted February 10, 2010 Don''t forget to look at GroupSave tickets if 3 or 4 of you are traveling together. From Victoria to Brighton the return fare for 4 is £43.40 (same a the price for 2 adults). Kids travel for just £1 return.
ncfc4life 0 Posted February 10, 2010 Just looking at trains on saturday and pretty much all the ones from london bridge seem to be stopping at preston park which is where the ground is whereas only a few to victoria stop there
Blofield Canary 11 Posted February 11, 2010 Don''t forget your match ticket includes free train from Hayward Heath so you can save a bit by buying London bridge to Hayward heath, not to Preston Park
Woman in the Stands (WITS) 0 Posted February 11, 2010 Thanks for the info about the free train within a certain area. Hadn''t realised this. Just thought it was bus park n ride voucher. I ususally read the small print for freebies!
