The Dog 35 Posted January 26, 2010 For every good gunn signing there was at least 3 bad ones. We were not in the relegation zone when he took over with 19 games to go and with Southampton and Charlton all but down we were fighting it out for the final relegation zone. Gunn successfully managed to seize that final relegation zone by the mighty margin of 5 points. Snatching it from the footballing powerhouses that are Plymouth, Barnsley etc. Please shut up about Gunn and acceot he was an aweful manager end of story. Gingerpele 0 Posted January 26, 2010 lol.....I think Gunn can be forgotten easily, he isn''t a football manager, and probably should have never taken the job (at least not after getting relegated...)
The Dog 35 Posted January 26, 2010 I think Roeder was about to bring Cody in before he got sacked as well! Perhaps we should thank him and Grant as well!

John 0 Posted January 26, 2010 He brought in about 21 players, and at best, 5 or so worked out. WOW. Showed Paul Lambert how to do it clearly.Got us relegated after about 21 games in charge, lost about 6 of his last 7 on our way to relegation despite once looking quite comfortable (infact, more thanks can go to Glenn Roeder than anyone else on that one), and lost on day one of the season in a ''derby'' (now one much on the basis of his actions above anything else) 7-1.God forbid we could of had someone like Billy Davies. Gunn really showed his fellow scotsman how it''s done.... Lucky us.[:|]
