think you might be wrong there its the first real chance Cody has had to impress PL and think he''s seen enough to warrent a start on saturday,So took him off for a well earned rest
Wasn''t coming on and scoring the winning goal last night impressive enough then?
PL isn''t at the game tonight Ian Crook is; I also doubt that anyone who will start on Saturday is playing tonight.

Yes Lambert was there! His thoroughness and commitment goes to the heart of the current success. Must make all the difference to players like Cody, McNamee, Gill, McVeigh, Wiggins and Whitbread that the manager comes down to Stevenage with them.

McVeigh laid on the first goal and Gill laid on the 2nd. McNamee ran the show in mid-field until he was subbed in the 63rd minute by Dawkin. Whitbread had a solid night in defence alongside Stephens, who in turn marked Boro''s principal threat out of the game. City dominated possession in the second half.

Boro provided the running commentary at:

fcboro.co.uk/2010/01/27/stev...

It gives a fair review of the whole match as it happened. Well done the reserves! OTBC!
