a1canary 0 Posted January 29, 2010 ...here''s hoping it has the same effect as Phil Brown dishing it out to his players on the pitch!Leaving aside that one approach is very private and the other is very public, there are actually some real similarities. The team has hit a bad patch, their losing badly in the match in question, their up and coming young manager, building himself a good reputation, feels like he has to do something drastic. Net effect is it just serves to entrench them even further into the rut they''re in. And they barely win another game from that point on. (Well, here''s hoping eh!).
