Hoolahan to Hull £2.5 million

Just to keep people panicking, the business only has to be done before 5pm, when the club releases news about it is entirely up to them.[:)]

Is it a case like a previous window that all they need to is fax the details of the deal in principle or do they need to do more than that for this window?
I honestly have no idea, I do know that news filtered out up until 8 or 9pm last time though.

Come on Wes, you know it makes sense to stay put! You''ve got a good thing going here!
Are you seriously suggesting you would turn down a huge promotion in your career, regardless of the role you were going into?

Any footballer who would turn down the top flight in favour of the third tier would be... well, it would never happen, because a person with that little ambition wouldn''t be playing football in the first place.

Leaving aside the likelihood that he has already done just that, try looking at the bigger picture. The ''huge promotion'' to Hull won''t look so huge in 3 months time when it will very likely be a sideways step at best if Hull are relegated and we are promoted. They will be on the down, we will be on the up. He will have a whole new team and workplace to get used to and will essentially be starting all over again. Here he is a central part of the team but there, are they really going to completely reshape the way the team plays for him? He will likely find himself left wing again or up front and he will have to prove himself all over again in a position where he struggled in the Championship.

If he wants to play for Ireland, which he most definitely does, he will certainly be better off playing for us in the Champ than for Hull, of that there is no doubt.
