Huge mistake!

Looking back Huckerby was treated unfairly by Glenn Roeder''s i.e being released. No one in there right mind relesaes a Norwich legend. But Hucks said he left for the USA because he didnt want to play against City. Havent been to Carrow for a while due to distance,  any songs being sung for hucks these days?

No, not really. When he first came back there was a round of "Oooooh huckerby" when he gave everyone a wave from the stands. Now he sits quietly with the fans in the Jarrold Stand as a season ticket holder.Sadly, he remains in the past.

Just to play devil''s advocate a little. If we hadn''t released we wouldn''t have bought Hoolahan; would you rather of had Huckerby for one more (injury blighted, fading light year) or have Hoolahan in the team now and potentially for a few more years.

Has Roeder''s now infamous "New heros" speech come to fruition, although a year late?

Remember, Roeder had a four year plan. Hoolahan WAS the new hero he intended to replace Huckerby. If he continues in this vein of form, he''ll will become it.Unfortunately, Roeder was never given his 4 years. We wouldn''t be in League One if he weren''t sacked.

Ahahahah! You should try stand-up, chap. Hilarious.

Did you watch us play last season, under Roeder? We were quite clearly going down, and anyone with functioning braincells could see it.

The mistake wasn''t sacking Roeder. They got that one spot on. The mistake was appointing Gunn, as we all know.

Sod Huckerby, that link just reminds us that at the same time we released the footballing God that was Juan Velesco...where is he now and would he be willing to come back?

No no songs, we''ve all moved on ( yes even me [:D]) He''s a fan now like the rest of us always at home and sometimes seen at away games too with his son.

Maybe if we go up he may get involved with the club again, either coaching the kids or PR work but whatever he does he''ll always have a place in our hearts.

The only problem was Roeder was absolutely clueless and a complete book end..............if he weren''t sacked...................remind me why he was sacked? Could it have been the inept decisions like forcing Hoolahan to play as a left winger? Roeder had a 4 year plan to take us to the conference.

Saw Hucks on Saturday with his lad (or lads) glad he comes to watch the games, still and always a legend at this club. Would love to sit next to him at a game!
