Lack of transfer speculation

Recommended Posts

At this time last year the MB was jammed with rumours, rumours of rumours and even rumours of press conferences. The distinct lack of them now shows just how desperate we were back then for some good news. In times of need people will cling on to anything in order to comfort themselves.

Lambert got straight in there when the window opened no pussy footing about for him and Prudence Doncaster has gone the club is moving forward.

[/quote]We are also a big fish in a smaller pond, easier to get our main targets rather than last year where many players would be reluctant to move to a club in for a scrap for the rest of the season.Lambert also quite clearly saying that there won''t be any more transfers helps kill speculation, as well as the fact we don''t really need anyone else this season.

It does demonstrate how vital a window seems when you are losing!

I think it great that the merry-go-round of dross has ended and that we are building something more permanent.

Stick or twist....I would stick and save money for next season.
