Norwich R Us 59 Posted January 24, 2010 So Holt will be getting 3 games, big blow, just hope our stand in''s are hungry enough to grasp their oppurtunity.I remember reading on here that Holt was a couple of yellow cards off a suspension anyway so will this new one have any effect on that?Or will it be the case that he''ll likely come back for a few games then get suspended once more?! Could really do with him during the huddersfield, swindon, leeds period is all...
AJ 1,218 Posted January 24, 2010 I think it''s good as it will give fringe players like McDonald and Johnson a decent run-out. With Martin now hitting his top form, I''ms ure we will be alright, but there''s no doubt we will miss him a lot. He is a good captain.
Guest Posted January 24, 2010 From what I can see (although I might be wrong), he''s still going to be two yellows from a two game ban when he comes back. If that''s right, it means he''ll miss over a quarter of our remaining games, not ideal.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted January 24, 2010 But don''t yellow cards get wiped out at some point next month? So given he will miss three matches now, he will probably avoid another ban.
Guest Posted January 24, 2010 The amnesty for 10 yellows in some time in April. I think it''s unlikely he''ll avoid getting booked twice more before then.
