NORWICH CITY FANS AND WHERE FROM

Recommended Posts

Last time I filled this type of question in on the Pink Un, I was in Graz, Austria. Now in the enviable town of Nuneaton. Born & bred in GY & lived in Norwich from ''03 to ''08.

Off to Warsaw game tonight.

Born in GY but lived in Stevenage most of my life. Both my boys support City but have failed my task regarding my grandson who has decided to support Chelski. Peer group pressure that''s what that is.[8o|].

The answer is in the name ! And I do have trouble with my son who was born up here, and has lived here all his life ! Still, we over-took them on Saturday !

Used to love going to watch when I lived in Norwich, and then GY:

Keelan, Payne + Butler ( or Butler + Black ), Stringer, Forbes, Briggs, Livermore, Paddon, Anderson, Bone, Cross. Sub Howard.

I was there for Hot Cross Bone Day !
Southampton220 mile drive to Norwich on crap roads!Used to live in Earlham, Hellesdon, Poringland (about 5 doors up from Gunnys'' old house! - years ago mind)I get dreadful sh#t from all the Saints fans I work with.Mind you, they''re a bit quiet at the moment. They are all excited about the FA cup against Pompey now. They hate each other as much as we hate Ipsh#t.
I used to live about 15 doors down from Gunny when he lived in meadow way (when he first signed as a keeper) - which was a hive of players back in the day... Dave Watson, Mike Phelan, Steve Bruce, Phil Hoadley et al. Does that put you on that side of Poringland or over near St Marys Way where all the footballers moved to when the new housing went in in the mid 90s? As said on an earlier page I''m now down in Southampton aswell!

You are right aswell the locals are gearing up for the south coast derby it won''t be pretty!
The road in where Gunny lived in Poringland was All Saints Road (ironically, now I''m living in Soton!)I lived on a Meadow Way in Hellesdon but never knew 1st nor last that City players were there (if it''s the same road you are referring to?).Where are you in Soton? I''m over the Waterside.

Outskirts, towards Chilworth/North Baddesley so not too central. Down here for about 10 years now. Carra Rd seems a long way away!

Stourbridge CanaryCol, though grew up near Magdalen Road and later in New Costessey. There seems to be a few West Midlanders on this forum - any idea if there''s a West Mids Supporters Club?

Proper fans come from Norfolk and it''s surrounding areas......

Lets not beat about the bush on this one eh?
B*oody hell Cluck..........you must be going soft in your old age.

Back in the day I''m sure it was you who said any City fan born outside the county boundary should be the subject of a lifetime exclusion zone around Carrow Road ( lol )
Only stated thus due to boundary changes over the years...... The PURIST rule still applies...
