pennywise 0 Posted January 16, 2010 apart from the 1st 10 minutes they looked terrifiied it was almost a mirror image of us in the home game..i just think with cowling stoking it up and far more media attention than they`re used to, and a full house which they`re not used to it all got to much for them in the build up.. by the time it kicked off they were heavy legged and jittery.. cheers cowling [:D]
Trent Canary 0 Posted January 16, 2010 Definitely. Cowling didnt only motivate us, but it affected Colchester. ''I want to win this match more than any''.. No pressure then lads
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,655 Posted January 16, 2010 I think we handled the occasion better, I also think we handled the pitch better, infact it probably contributed to 3 of our goals, Colchester were also somewhat hamstrung by one of the more pathetic defensive displays I''ve ever seen in Okunugue , or whatever his name was - truely awful. Mello Yello 2,265 Posted January 16, 2010 We were stronger, fitter and played better football....We adapted to the conditions....Even if they''d scored in the first 20 minutes....We''d have still won the game...
