Hardhouse44 289 Posted January 7, 2010 We can''t keep having mild heart attacks every time some club need a manager or one of our players plays well and get some attention. It''s week in week out now. People panicking cos Holt is top scorer cos Wes is playing majestically cos young Smith is such a hot prospect and now cos our manager is on a bookies favorites list to be offered another job.Look if he want to go he''ll go and there is bugger all we or the club can do about it. If the club choose to sell the star players then things might be different but these are all if''s.I posted my thoughts before about our players leaving and to put it simply they would only be destined for Championship clubs and Championship clubs that will still be Championship clubs next season. Just like we will be if they keep doing the business. Why would Wes leave to play in front of 14000 at Crystal palace when 24000+ think he a god here.As for the Manager. Yeah he could try his luck with Burnley but he''s no fool. Life has it downs as well as it up''s. not everything he touches will turn to gold. Could well be he''s managing a team in a years time who''s getting crowds of 16000 and getting their ar$e''s kick at Carrow road by Wes, Holty and the boys. What every happens you have to live with it. Life is full of disappointments and pleasant surprises and once in a while you get some reasoned thinking and good common sense!

writeronthestorm 4 Posted January 7, 2010 Good post Hardhouse. Of course, I wouldn''t like to see Lambert go, as he is doing an excellent job so far. But, if he goes, he goes. If it does happen, I just hope that McNally has a Plan B up his sleeve! As we know, in football contracts don''t count for much and players and staff alike can move clubs at the drop of a hat.At the end of the day, we''ll all continue to support Norwich 100%I''d be surprised if Lambert went, but the bookies odds are usually near the mark! CambridgeCanary 0 Posted January 7, 2010 The futures not ours to see............Seriously Hardhat, you are bang on. This Board and the vast majority of posters are like kittens in a thunderstorm. Those of us old enough to remember "No Reeves, no fans no future" know that this club will survive and will on occasions flourish irrespective of any individual or any event.
