Of course it is the job of news reporters / editors to write effective headlines. They draw us in unsuspecting and curious, sometimes alarmed at what might be behind them. That’s certainly the case for the Pink’Un headline that started all this Lambert to Burnley conjecture.

 

Bookies tip Lambert to quit Norwich City

 

The Ipswich Evening Star headline was even more tempting to view tonight.....

 

Lambert set for Burnley job?
