Lambert duly has asks Holt why he didn''t shoot himself...

A bit drastic commiting suicide...
It was even more suicidal laying it off to Lappin though!!

10 minutes to half time, Lappin good cross in, Nelson with the firm header but keeper equal to it, diving and holding onto it.

Gone a bit quiet now, Exeter were in good voice a moment ago, around 300 fans they have brought with them which is quite a surprise really!

Holt in on goal, lays it off to Hoolihan, holds it up and lays it off to Adam Drury who must surely score. But somehow the keeper is equal to it, and Drury''s wait for a goal continues. Fantastic save.

Tony Cottee is at the game reporting for Sky, he says its all Norwich but he''s impressed with Exeter.

Nelson header again from a Lappin corner, inches over the bar. A second goal must surely be on the cards soon?!

Forster made an absolutely fantastic save from a deflected diving header from fleetwood. Exeter pushing Norwich back, Forster is a rock.Russel Martin clears it off the line with Forster beaten.

The ball comes in and meets a well timed Lappin run who tries to loop a header over the keeper but the keeper saves. Could have probably brought that down I think.

We really should have been at least three up by now. As usual we are making our supporters nervous.

Better well built apparoach ending with Lappin who drags his shot wide. Fancies a goal this afternoon I think that lad!

Wonder if WAY got to the game, she was stuck in Dereham last night surrounded by 11 inches of snow and was appealing for Huskies and sleighs [:D]

C''mon Wycombe, they''ve had 8 shots at goal compared with Leeds only having 6

CMON YOU YELLOWS [:)]

Half time whistle goes. A second goal would surely kill a game which Norwich have completely dominated off.Exeter look dangerous in patches, but that could be down to a few slippy moments from NorwichWell on course and thoroughly deserve our lead, and a chance to get a few more points ahead of Charlton.

Funnily enough, yesterday there was a news item that showed Huskies pulling a sleigh through Thetford Forest.
From Jenny at Elland Road, via text: "Most fans chose not to boo

or cheer Beckford - who is wearing gloves by the way. Very indifferent

feeling here. Some boos but generally hushed. Unfortunately Leeds

suffering an FA Cup hangover, despite the goal."
Interesting! Chance of a slip up?

Once again Holt is too nice and doesn''t go for goal. Good approach play so far, but no end product. C''mon city, lets put it to bed!

Marcus Stewart (37 years old!) comes on for Exeter as part of a 3 man substitution to try and win the game. Richard Logan (Ipswich youth product) also comes on.An hour gone, Norwichs till bombarding the Exeter goal, often doing a bit too much...Surely a change will happen soon for Norwich?
