TIL 1010 4,722 Posted December 27, 2009 I had to smile whilst reading BBC text about the Palace v Ipswich game and the words attributed to Keane with regard to the dismissal of Stead.Apparently he thought it was out of order for the opposition manager and players to attempt to influence the referee in his decision to send Stead off.Priceless from Sir Alex Fergusons former captain is all i can say.Not once did that ever happen during his time at Old Trafford did it? Mister Chops 7 Posted December 27, 2009 I think Keane is doing a good job at Ipswich. I do however have a "Bryan Gunn for Ipswich manager" facebook group at the ready, just in case.
......and Smith must score. 1,336 Posted December 27, 2009 Quite right Tilly. The man''s a nasty piece of work both on and off the pitch and I''m looking forward enjoying not just a smile but a great big guffaw when it all goes pear-shaped at Portman Road.As it inevitably will. WeAreYellows49 0 Posted December 27, 2009 What do you expect? It''s Roy Keane, the bloke is a knob of the highest order, however I can''t fault his excellent work at the scum [:)]

Gus 0 Posted December 27, 2009 No one can deny the fact he was a great player. I think he has mellowed out since management but his managerial career will always have the overhanging shadow of the incidents of his playing days. Believe it or not, change is possible. Bury Yellow 2 Posted December 27, 2009 Have to agree with all this. The big mystery is the extension to his name, given by the media, who adore his very being, they call him Roy Keane''s Ipswich. What a tow rag that man is!
Beauseant 0 Posted December 27, 2009 The man''s a freaking idiot. As Tilly says, he almost copyrighted the bulging eyeball invasion of the referees personal space, but then again, he did study under the ultimate master of hypocrisy!
