nutty nigel 7,509 Posted December 26, 2009 Good morning Pups… The bet is on with Dixmar Racing, so thanks to our good friends Fellas and Billy Dixon we have... 8/11 Norwich1/5 Celtic8/15 Cardiff4/9 Manchester City4/9 Manchester Utd3/10 Liverpool Which will win for the Academy £76.20p. As always I ran the same bet through one of the big bookies and the return would only be £61.70. So that just goes to show why we should bet with Billy. So don’t forget that the best odds on all the weekend football are available to each and every one of us so if you are doing a line today or even fancy these give Billy a ring! Thanks again Leon. These are excellent picks with an excellent potential return. Only real bad luck can stop us recording another win for the academy. So now it’s "game on" Norwich get us under way at 12:45 followed by Cardiff at 1pm. Celtic and Man. City kick off at 3pm and then Liverpool start at 5:30. Hopefully we will be undefeated overnight so we can all cheer Manchester United on to victory at Hull tomorrow at 4pm. I’m sorry to say Billy wasn’t too well today. He’s been having a lot of trouble with his back. I told him we all wish him a speedy recovery and he still hopes to put in an appearance on Tuesday if only briefly. Good luck my friends[Y]

Hissing Sid 154 Posted December 26, 2009 Unlucky Fellas. Cannot believe that Cardiff result. I''m starting to get a complex now. A fortnight ago I went with Sunderland, last week I was with Juve, and this week Cardiff. Its turning into a nightmare.

YankeeCanary 0 Posted December 28, 2009 Fellas, while most of us get the "bad luck" message from fellow PUPS, I have to say that your 5 out of 6 this week with what you were working with is, in my view, as good a performance as any winning week. You also narrowed the choice to ensure you would choose six matches that were actually played. This was further reducing the pool to choose from, which was very small to begin with, and you almost pulled it off. Excellent!

nutty nigel 7,509 Posted December 28, 2009 A very difficult week for Fellas and us PUPs. An impressive 54 PUPs still managed to select with 37 getting their selections correct and two void making a success rate of 71%. This was good considering what there was to work with but, as Yankee rightly points out, Fellas did remarkably well to turn this 71% into 83% with his 5/6.
