OP vs Jiz

Clash of the titans?

Masquerading as Notrich fan, I texted into the football league show last night criticising Lambert getting the game abandoned - they read it out

As bad as those tossers at NCISA I reckon.
And a happy new year to you to Wiz.

Will be being seeing you tonight?
Doubt it Kathy, he''s staying in with all those tossers who moan a lot and do nothing.

I read that and don''t believe Kathy would have said that but I have to ask why did you leave at 6.30am to do a 3hr journey for a game that started at 3pm Kathy or do you and Tilly stop in all the layby''s on the way? [:)]

Not impressed at all. It was one of those situations where they speak to you for fifteen minutes then cherry pick (or rotten cherry pick as the case may be) bits out and they totally misrepresent you. I simply gave the story as events unfolded and at one point a rumour went around that Lambert had influenced the referee, and I mentioned this. I told the reporter I consider this unlikely as the ref has the final say but they didnt print that bit. We were also lost in Walsall at the time, and I was supposed to be navigator, and was getting Paddington stares from the chairman who was driving at the time, and already had the opinion that women cant navigate. It was bound to go all wrong.

For what its worth even if Lambert did put pressure on the ref than I support him. He hasnt got much wrong so far.

Over my dead body. We left early so we could have a hearty breakfast and drop said persons wife off for shopping spree at the Birmingham Bullring sales.

The Walsall Trip:

Mr. Tilson: "I''m pulling over into the next layby." ( snigger...snigger )

Kathy: Thinks to herself, "This should be rich."

Mr. Tilson: "Do you want me to park in the remote spot further ahead?"

Kathy: "I think that''s a good idea, but will you drop me off here first."

Mr. Tilson: "Don''t go getting too big for your britches girl. There''s plenty more fish in the ocean who''d love to be in your place."

Kathy: "You mean lost in Walsall with a fat man who thinks he''s getting lucky ''cos he dumped the wife for a couple of hours?"

Mr. Tilson: "Now you''ve really done it. Drop me off at the ground and don''t you dare come back until the match is over."

Kathy: "Right."

We spoke to numerous Walsall stewards and club officials and the view of all of them was that Lambert had pressured the referee into calling it off. Any reporter covering the game would have focused on this ''rumour'' regardless of whether Kathy made mention to it when interviewed.

For what it''s worth I''m confident that Lambert took the actions that he felt were best for Norwich City''s promotion challenge and therefore, despite the wasted journey, I have no complaints. We actually had a good day in the end and even got a couple of free pies that they were giving way afterwards.

First Wiz...

Dear oh dear mate! Has anybody ever told you that you shouldn''t believe everything you read?

You believe a Colchester fan texted into the football league show pretending to be a Norwich fan (that was me as it happens) and gulp down a local rag''s misquoted nonsense and have no faith in your supporters group? Stop and think the next time you get so pompous will you?

Firstly, I''ve no idea who the NCISA are but I''m sure they do a better job enhancing the reputation of your club than your embarrassing sorties to other clubs'' messageboards. Secondly, when you post on another club''s forum be aware that somebody might just tell a little fib about texting the football league show eh? I expected a little bite, but a thread of my own on the pink un!

I think they call that "hook line and sinker"

Smithy the doctor recommends having a little feel around and a good look for men of our age if there is trouble down below in the waterworks dept.In my case if i was in a layby with Kathy(and for what it is worth i was accompanied by three women yesterday) the steam you mention would be coming from her ears.

Well I have to say that I have travelled on the same train as some of these NCISA people, and they all see themselfs as first class compartment travellers and stay away from us, they are not Norwich city fans like the rest of us they are no more than a committee made up of old farts including Tilston .

Kathy and Tilly don''t go to away games on the train they always go by car with a couple of away regulars so it couldn''t have been them. As for all the committee being old I think Robert, Jane, Claire, David, Tony & Danny just to name 6 that come to mind, might disagree with you.

One silly post about NCISA and then loads jump on the bandwagon to crucify them, no wonder people are leaving this site in droves!!

you want the truth Angel?Read my post on page 2.

I am the Colchester fan that wrote on our own msgboard that I sent the text to the football league show. I did no such thing of course, but I just knew that wiz would get very excited about it. A bit childish I know, but you have to set your bait accordingly.

I just went fishing and caught a big fat wizard ;-)

By the way just the one T in Tilson and themselfs is actually themselves. Now about this train travel drivel that you have posted, over the last few seasons i have only ever travelled by train to Ipswich and that was not in the company of any NCISA committee members.Maybe you would like to correct me and name names.I also think you would find it difficult to "stay away from us" on a packed football special don''t you?

Also i have not quite got to the "old farts" stage yet as the doctor has allowed me to keep my driving licence and has not yet prescribed viagra. No need to use a walking stick and i do not qualify for concessions at the cinema or OAP pub lunches etc.

It may surprise you to learn that at least 5 of the NCISA Committee are under 35 so may i suggest you check your facts regarding "old farts"
