Mascot of the Decade?

Recommended Posts
I was mascot in a match this decade!Therefore I nominate me [:D]
Well well well!Just messing with you, CT.Personally, my vote would have to go to the Aviva Lemur because it''s unbelievably sh*te.  In fact, does anyone remember the half-time "entertainment" where Splat the Cat, Captain Canary & Aviva Lemur had a race against two giant milk bottles all in the name of recycling?  It was probably the worst thing since Mark Fotheringham.

I reckon the Aviva Beaver would technically have rhymed better but obviously would have been the butt of endless beaver jokes from the other mascots.

Bar the fact that the Aviva Beaver sounds like a second rate porn movie there is surely only one way to find the true winner.Which team''s mascot has won the mascot grand national (or whatever the hell they call it) the most in the decade....theres your answer. One for those wiki hunters no?

A bit Ot but you reminded me of when I was a mascot - 1996 i think against Birmingham City, I''d been to Oxford away about a few weeks or so before - and watched the mascot shoot at Gunny for about 10mins..... When it came to my turn against Bham, I was allowed ONE f**king shot, which was a penalty, - the best one i ever hit aged 8, arrowing towards the bottom corner of the net, Gunn dived full stretch and tipped it round the post. C**t. Birmingham were great though and made the day really special, that Gunn save was the one thing that marred my day.

Sounds like a lass who is fond of fun in the back of an old Vauxhall.
