When Saturday Comes 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Good read, cheers. Not sure if Andy Townsend is a ''Norwich legend'' though, and it really annoys me how many people in the media (particularly Sky Sports) keep calling Grant Holt ''Gary''.Oh, and it''s Sunday, not Saturday! judderman 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Comes out at the start of January - puts him a bit in the shop window perhaps? I''m sure his agent isn''t disappointed, put it that way, looking at the last paragraphs
Binky 0 Posted January 3, 2010
Good read, cheers. Not sure if Andy Townsend is a ''Norwich legend'' though,
Legend is an overused word and I know Townsend gets stick on here for his TV pundit role - but I never saw him have a bad game and he had some very good ones. Good all round footballer who could tackle, pass and score goals. Remember thinking at the time we signed him that he was an absolute steal. Hoolahan though, if he stays with us through promotion and beyond, really could become a legend for the club. A talisman like Huckerby. Shame Roeder didn''t know how to play him. (That injured ankle probably did more damage to Bryan Gunn than it did to Wes.).
