I don''t like to be too critical but I think you would be better off doing this a group at a time over the next few months rather than rushing it all out at once. That way you could do a little more in depth research and maybe tell us things we don''t know about the teams. At the moment it reads a little like a list of the teams qualifying records and which of their players play in Britain.Oh and you''ve got Greece noted twice in Group B [:$]

Beat the Spanish, have moved to near the top ten in the rankings. But still, we still have to beat the better teams.

Good group.
Great group!  Why does everyone fear the USA?
I don''t think anyone fears them as such but they''re well organised and, although it''s not much of a tournament, their performances against Spain and Brazil in The Confederations Cup have made a few people sit up and take notice.

With the players that play in brit i would have to say that quite frankly a lot of the teams that are in the world cup, their stand out players are quite often in the prem... ivory coast... ghana... nigeria (well obi is an ex prem ''star''...although i think newcastle fans might not agree with the term ''star''!) I for one had no idea about who played for some of the teams and had to research it... hopefully others reading it will pick up some info on teams like north korea (good luck to them btw... HARSH group!) that they didn''t know before... for what it is worth i think england do stand a good chance... the draw went pretty well for them... the next round against ghana or germany could be tricky... I wouldn''t fear USA really... It will be tight but we have more than enough to put them to the sword... JOE COLE... is the man i think England have been missing... He has great skill and a fantastic never say die attitude that i feel was missed a little in the last few games. thanks for the comments though... I value and appreciate them.James

If the day ever arrives when England are worried about playing America at football, that''s the day we should all pack up and go home.

We should be as concerned as USA would be in playing England at American football!

I think you are being a little naive if you think the USA are no threat. The USA spend more than any country on developing young sports stars and it is really starting to show with their national team.

Landon Donovan, Michael Bradley, Oguchi Onyewu and Jozy Alitidore (although he has been poor recently) are all good players and the team are incredibly fit and well organised.

They will be tricky to beat come June and should be respected. Remember they beat Spain in the Confederations Cup and had a 2 - 0 lead over Brazil. Admittedly the USA team were taking it a lot more seriously than anyone else, but they impressed a lot of people that tournament.
Take it you have never seen them play then...Their league is pretty poor but their better players move onto Europe, just a dangerous as teams like the Ivory Coast and Serbia...or should we be sure of beating them easily too?

They simply don''t have the firepower to concern England, they are an ordinary team with ordinary players in global terms.

I wouldn''t be suprised if Slovenia finished above them in this group.
