If he`s so good it seems a bit curious he was a sub for fifteen games last season.....[:^)]
It also means that he scored 8 in 11 League starts. Depends whether we''re going for cup half full or half empty!

Rooney was played as a sub for almost an entire season, even when everyone could plainly see how amazing he was...

who ever norwich brought in .you would not want to drop anyone of the front line at norwich at the moment . holt martin and hoolihan are all on fire and scoring by the bucket load. even if norwich signed ched evans he would have to wait to get a start.!! if it aint broke dont fix it ..!!. i feel this will be a replacement for cureton .

They said Grant Holt could never be replaced, but Dale managed it with the former Tranmere boy wonder

Liverpudlian Dagnall is a product of Tranmere Rovers’ youth setup and was a prolific scorer at every level of the Prenton Park club’s programme after joining at the age of 13.

Big things were expected of the forward, especially after he made his Rovers debut at 17 and scored his first goal a few months later. But under manager Brian Little, first-team opportunities proved few and far between, allowing Rochdale to snap him up as a replacement for Nottingham Forest-bound Grant Holt.

A quick and direct frontman who knows where the goal is, Dagnall has since found the net regularly in the league, averaging a little over a goal every other game. Ruptured cruciate ligaments decimated his 2007/08 season, but he made a remarkable recovery in time to play a major part in Dale’s play-off challenge, scoring in both legs of the semi-final win against Darlington.

That''s a worry, went to Rochdale when Holt left for Forest - could it happen again - a case of deja vu?

If the move comes off great. Appears a young lad on the up who would not command a huge fee, not much of a gamble in my book but could prove to be a good investment. Over the years we have done well when we have shopped in the lower leagues as have many other clubs
