I think I have the final picks! It wasn''t easy and you PUPs certainly gave me lots to think about. Four really seemed to stand out, the final two places were harder. I know it''s an international weekend but alot of them, I feel, are a bit tricky. So I''ve gone with what I think are the most likely!

The bad news (or good news) is that I am out all day tomorrow and won''t be back until late, so I will have no idea how it''s all going. Maybe ignorance is bliss! But I know you PUPs will be keeping a close eye on it.

Which will win for the Academy £68.99p.  As always I ran the same bet through one of the big bookies and the return would only be £58.30 which just goes to show why we should bet with Billy. So don’t forget that the best odds on all the weekend football are available to each and every one of  us so if you are doing a line today or even fancy these give Billy a ring!
Thanks again Cosmic. These selections really look good to me. They are all this afternoon so we shall know our fate by teatime.

 

So now it’s "game on" and we start with Huddersfield who have a lunchtime kick-off at 12:05 then Rhyl get underway at 2:30. Barnet, Colchester and Stevenage all start at 3pm and we finish with Croatia at 4:30.

Err yeah sorry about that. No internet at home so I sneaked on here during a quiet five minutes at work this morning and picked something that looked popular. Didn''t realise it was the early kick off until I heard the score when I was driving home at 2 o'' clock [:$].

Anyway I''ve managed to get onto another computer (thanks Mum [:D]) and as most of the games have kicked off already there''s not much left to choose from. So I''ll go for Brazil to beat England.

I got back in time yesterday to watch the League Show not knowing any football scores only to have my optimism disappear pretty rapidly after the Colchester game! At least the four picks I was pretty happy with came in and I''m quite pleased with 4/6. I really enjoyed my week in charge and I want to thank all you PUPs for your help.

60 PUPs picked this week with 49 getting their selections correct making a success rate of 82% which is one of the best we ever had. But this rather disguises what a difficult week it actually was because we only managed to give Cosmic 22 different naps to consider and only 13 (69%) were correct. But still it was another great effort from our army of PUPs but just one of those weeks where it was extremely difficult to put six winners together.

 

As Astro pointed out his attempt to predict four successive draws went down in spectacular fashion but Nana stepped up and called one correctly[Y] Could young Nana be Astro’s apprentice[:^)] If we ever end up with 8 draws selected I’m going to do the pools![:O]

 

Thank you Cosmic for such a magnificent effort. I’m glad you enjoyed the week. I certainly did. It was difficult but we were still close in the end. And thanks all you PUPs for such great support again.

Astro''s was unlucky with this weeks nap as on paper there was no seperating the teams (but there was on the pitch), and it was almost the same as what I went for [;)]
