Out of Youth Cup!

Recommended Posts

no need for the angry face! This youth team really was a youth team... a lot of 1st year scholars in this side with lots still to learn so i wouldnt read too much into this - especially as the youth team is doing well in the league.

why be so angry? last year we probably had korey, rudd and adeyami in that side, 3 of the most promosing talents weve had in a few years, now we havent got any of those in it this year so losing isnt that much of a surprise.

What a disgrace. Our team of kids lose to another team of kids from somewhere else. And us, a mighty third division (old money, thanks Tangible) side against a fourth division side. I for one will never watch a youth team game again.

This is a clear and obvious decline from a decent run last year when we had totally different players and is just another indication that the team of last year are now older and might be ineligible to play....or in the first team squad. It is an absolute disgrace.

It''s clear to me that if Bryan Gunn was still in charge of the club then our youth team would have gone out there and showed some passion and belief, instead of falling apart under the pressure put on them by Lambert the bully.

"Surely Torquay don''t have a better youth setup than us? Club''s a joke."

No, they don''t, but they haven''t produced Martin, Spillane, Adeyemi, Rudd, Steer and Smith in the last 2 years, have they?

What they did do, was win a game of football. Occasionally that happens. We''re not Chelsea you know... learning to live with the odd defeat might come in handy being a Norwich fan... :)

How can you say that this young side let the club down. Shame on you! They would have worked their socks off - under difficult conditions and after an awful lot of travelling. Every encouragement should be given to these lads and "fans" who think along the lines of Rocky marshall are obviously only "fair weather" fans who only support their club when things are going OK - such a pathetic post

Were you at the game? No, then don''t comment. For all your know, we may have completely dominated the 90 minutes, only for their defence and keeper to be on the form of their lives, and then a lucky extra-time goal mouth scramble won it for them. It''s happened to the first time in the past (Leeds away, for example) and has happened to plenty of other teams.Pipe down rubbadub, and stop blasting our youngsters.

It''s a bloody disgrace, I''ve never seen any other team lose a match,it only ever happens to ours.Rocky is used to being a winner, he''s won the village idiot competition in his village for the last 12 years running.
They were missing Adeyemi, Stephens and Francomb, 3 key players who were eligible to take part
They Were Missing Dumic Aswell! [:P]

Yes, They May Be Out Of The Cup, But They Are Still Performing Very Well In The League!
