Who thought Leeds have?Leeds fans who say how well supported they are are stupid....there ground is half empty, so therefore they are probably one of the worst supported teams.....We all know we have one of the best set of supporters in Football, for what league we are in, and what kind of team we have had for many years.....
As has been mentioned so many times before, we are the 15th most popular club in England so the size of our suport is consistent with that fact.
Interesting! Do you have a source for this mate? Would like to see the list.

Some clubs are a joke though, look at Stoke, the Brittania was always half empty, they get promoted, suddenly the glory hunters turn up, and everyone says what magnificent support they have. Same goes to most of the clubs in the Premiership, would be interesting to see the attendences of teams like Chelsea, United and Liverpool if they ever got relegated. Our support and loyalty is second to none in the country, I cannot think of any other club who would get the home and away attendences we do if they have suffered what we have! Shame football is dominated by money men these days as our attendences don''t really seperate us from the less supported clubs.

United, and much as i hate to say it, Liverpool, are the biggest teams in England without a shadow of a doubt.Taking away the anti Utd vibe that all their fans are from surrey, have never been to old trafford and cant name 5players blah blah blah they would still have fantastic support. They are by far the biggest team in manchester just as liverpool are bigger than everton.  If we think back to Man City being where we are at present, they had attendances around the 30,000mark. Utd would be exactly the same (though granted the surrey prawn sandwich types may defect to chelsea [if they havent already]).City have fantastic support and more importantly are well respected and liked country wide.  Sure, id love us to have a bit more noise rather than the one stand singing, but not at the expense of turning into a bunch of cavemen.  I think the comments from Edgeley Park yesterday say a lot....they only had 4000 odd there but they made some real noise.  Its the passion that the fans show that really counts in the end.  25000 people who turn up week in week out is great.  25000 who turn up week in week out, jump up and down, get behind the team and make the stadium a famous place to visit is better.  Having watched football in South America id love to see the whole barclay jumping up and down in unison, scarves waving, couple of flares (by safely appointed flaresmen for those health and safety types) and a cauldron of noise.

Actually Leeds have the second highest attendance in the league. The reason there ground looks empty is because its capacity is 40,000. It is a brilliant to see us with higher attendances than Premier League teams. We would get more if are ground was bigger.

Love those stats pages :-)

Cardiff have an average capacity of 103% while wolves also have a highest attendance larger than their capacity.

Those stats put us 18th largest attendence overall and 13th in terms of ground filling each week.
