It''s in Russia commemorating the Battle of Stalingrad and is called The Motherland Calls (let''s be ''avin'' you)

I learned all that at the EHS Tangie [;)]
Nice one! Bloody Hell she''s a big girl. I can just imagine that, suitably translated into Latin, rippling across the fold in her tunic."Nobiscum Deus" was apparently a Roman battle cry. My rusty Latin isn''t up to "let''s be ''avin" - I think "you" might be "te".  Any Latin scholars here?
Nutty''s statue of Wiz would go perfectly with this understated one of Delia...

Nice, pert pair of tits.Is that statue carved from the same enormous piece of rock?

And based on a local resident who is still alive so far as I know.  The only problem with this marvellous work of art is that, in the tradition of Soviet building during the 1960''s, they forgot to fix her to the foundations.  Sadly, she is now on the move and listing somewhat.  At the moment only her weight is keeping her upright............[:|]

That''s not caused by the foundations Cam! The listing is due to the cookin'' sherry [D][D][<:o)][+o(]

Correctly identified, indeed. And thanks to Cam for for the extra info. The statue is situated on a hill that kept changing hands during the Battle of Stalingrad.

Apropos of nothing, but if anyone visits Budapest any time soon then you might find the "Statue Park" an inspirational place to visit.  After the communist government were removed, all the giant (and I mean giant) statues were taken out of the capital and moved about 10 miles outside to a "theme park" full of communist statues.http://www.szoborpark.hu/index.php?Content=Szoborpark&Lang=en

Nigel if you still want a wizard statue and have not been able to get access to hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayers money might I suggest a trip to your local garden centre? Available in a variety of poses including fishing, smoking a pipe, sitting on a wheelbarrow, listening to the radio and typing you''ll find a good selection of these cheeky chappies. You''ll be surprised what a difference a lick of black paint and a few silver stars and crescents can make and yours for well under twenty quid including paint.
