Lambo 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Worthy was on a rolling contract. I personally don''t see him leaving unless a PL club or someone like Newcastle came calling though. He see''s restoring us to the Championship or possibly higher as a good challenge I think and one that would do his career the world of good. Longy 1 Posted September 30, 2009 Contracts aren''t really going to stop Lambert going anywhere, unless he wants a new contract lets keep it the way it is. It will stop us having to fork out stupid amount of money to pay up his contract, if things go pear shaped.
Canary Man of Kent 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Why would you want him on a 2 year deal? A rolling contract means it''s always 12 months until it ends. If we gave him a long deal we could end up paying lots of compo if he were sacked, but this was we only have to pay one year. It''s good corporate governance to gave senior staff on 12 month rolling deals. JTG 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Don''t worry, as far as the club are concerned, he''s here for the long term. I think Lambert wants it that way as well.
