Robbo007 0 Posted September 4, 2004 For those of you who are missing, or who have not heard much about the great man, here is a rundown on the leg-ends'' performance for Wycombe against Oxford this evening.First half:Got plenty of the ball but distribution was generally poor. Started the game off wide left but appeared in the centre more as the game wore on. Seems to have improved his workrate since leaving Norwich (think he realises that there isn''t the money in the game as there was a few years back, and so knows he has to make an effort!). Most effective part of his game was his set-piece distribution, took all the set-pieces from the right and his inswingers were causing oxford problemsAs for the game, Wycombe equalised from the spot late on to make it 1-1 at the breakSecond Half:Dropped back deeper and deeper as Oxford pressed, it would appear Tony Adams has taken the view that if you don''t concede then you won''t lose, as opposed to the Kevin keegan "if you score 4 we will score 5 mentality). Still showing plenty of effort, and would appear to taking more responsibity than when he was at norwich.. Barely saw him for the last 30mins. game ends 1-1Best of luck Clint
