As Worthy used to say.

Recommended Posts

Wasn''t Lambert supposed to be awful at man management?  Seems to be getting it right so far and puts people in who deserve to be there on performances not reputation.  Things are moving in the right direction but there''s still a long way to go.  Off to Carlisle and another 3 pts?

As Worthy used to say "You''ve got to earn the right to play."

Yep, and I never understood it then. One of those daft things managers say. Not sure of the relevance to today''s game.

Still, "One love".

Still, "One love".[/quote]Maybe you have to have played the game to understand ?  It was in the context of having to wrestle control of the game from the opposition, because they won''t give it to you.  Sometimes pretty football isn''t enough - you have to assert yourself and be competitive to win games of football.  Once you''re on top, you can start to get a bit "Hollywood" as Hansen might say...
