Puzzy magnet 0 Posted October 2, 2009 I used to enjoy this show when Chris Goreham did it...It may just be me, but isn''t Matthew Gudgeon as dull as ditchwater?I fell asleep listening to it last night.

[/quote]as is Germy Goss but Jimmy Greaves brightened it up a bit. Ageed that it used to be better than it is now but Goss''s over the top enthusiasm for being able to see a view from a particular piece of turf really was very funny. There did used to be more life to it yes. Mazy Run 0 Posted October 2, 2009 Gudgeon''s presenting of the pre- and post-match coverage is hopeless - he always sounds like he neither knows nor cares about Norwich City. Amazing that they have given him The Scrimmage now too.
Guest Posted October 2, 2009 Isn''t he only hosting it while Chris Goreham is doing the breakfast show? However long that''s for.
wedgie 0 Posted October 2, 2009 The breakfast show is poor as well, bring back Bumfrey
Barclay hero 0 Posted October 2, 2009 People actually listen to Radio Bumpkin for anything other than The Scrimmage and Norwich matches????
William Darby 0 Posted October 2, 2009 If Radio Norfolk was commercially funded, it would''ve shut down years ago. A lot of what is broadcast is utter drivel.

Google Bot 3,256 Posted October 3, 2009 Gudgeon just seems so far removed from anything, not just football.. It''s as though he''s reading it from a card and someone is poking him the whole time to carry on.I do love radio Norfolk though, i think anyone who likes Alan partridge can appreciate the humour to be found on there 24/7. :)
Puzzy magnet 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Matthew Gudgeon is hopeless. I guess he has been there so long he got a radio show by default. As said above, in the commercial sector he wouldn''t have a hope in hell.
dreamteam 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Theres plenty of rubbish in the commercal sector. And the fact is R Norfolk has a bigger audience than the local commercial stations. Not very good though.I only listen for local sport and news, and to be fair its better than the commercials for that. AndyJR 0 Posted October 3, 2009 I have to disagree with Matt Gudgeon not being any good. I think he has an excellent broadcasting voice, never gets flustered and keeps everything flowing.
