Salopian 1 Posted October 6, 2009 Lappin started like an express train but seems to have gone off the boil recently. I would replace him with Martin, a relatively late arrival, but who now seems difficult to leave out. I think that we may have even more to see from his partnership with Holt. Houston Canary 0 Posted October 6, 2009

HoltSmithHughesAskouRudd
Would go with this... [Y] apart from Russell in for either Rudd or Hughes at the moment. It is no coincidence that we are unbeaten since Russell came in to the team in my opinion.
I don''t disagree, but I thought at least SOMEONE should show some love to Rudd for doing as well as he had. Howson is now! 0 Posted October 6, 2009 1. Grant Holt2. Korey Smith3. Adam Drury4. Chris Martin5. Declan RuddI agree with Smudge that it''s no coincidence that Russell has come in, played really well, and we haven''t lost with him in the team. The reason Rudd has pipped him to the 5th place (for me) is the situation in which Rudd has been given his chance. He must have felt that with Theoklitos signing, then going out and getting Alnwick, and then going straight out and bringing in Forster, that there wasn''t going to be a place for him in the manager''s plans. He''s come in, he had a nervous first 15 minutes after conceding the penalty, and I haven''t felt nervous about his performances since.Someone posted earlier saying that he needs to be tested away from home. A perfectly valid point which I for one am looking forward to seeing because I really think we could be onto a winner with Rudd.Afterthought... What distribution he has :)
