Yellow Submarine 0 Posted September 14, 2009 I think had we not lost two of our most influential players, hughes and lappin (technically as he had to revert to left back) we would all be hailing a great result and talking up ruddy promotion!! Put yourself in Lambert''s position. What do you do when you''re dominating the game and you''ve got to not only change personnel, but our formation with the squad we''ve got? Hoolahan isn''t our saviour. He''s a little man who thinks he''s alot better than he actually is. I saw enough from him when he came on as a sub against wycombe. Lincs CR 0 Posted September 14, 2009 I for one, despite being his first critic, would have Whaley over McVeigh on the bench, and Russell over Adeyemi if Korey Smith is playing.Hughes goes off and we need someone to come on and take up the position of dictating the tempo rather than Adeyemi who will win the ball and defend more often than attack (similar to Korey Smith) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
