The Ipswich Evening Star had a promotional exercise yesterday and handed out free copies of the paper to Ipswich fans at the Preston game.

The back page contained a crossword which, helpfully, had all the answers next to it.

A mistake or a necessity?[8-|]

Maybe that''s why they gave them away - betting that neither  the good folk of Ipswich nor their frequent visitors from Colchester would  notice.

Could be! But I note Ipswich hijacked the Colchester United reporter to cover the Ipswich game having suspended the gentleman who had a recent run in with Roy Keane...................

Yes, but did they tell them which words went down and across. Ipswich folks can handle going down but they''ve never seen a cross.

The way Ipswich''s season is panning out it won''t be long before there isn''t a reporter anywhere who hasn''t had a run in with Mr Keane....
