Largey 0 Posted September 6, 2009 Has anyone here read ''Real Football, Real Fans'' by William Barr?http://www.realfootballrealfans.com/thebook.htmlWilliam Barr travels to one home game of every League 2 club from the 2007-2008 season, and writes about the history of the club, the history of the town, the current status and dilemmas facing many of these small clubs, and of course the match (with a half-time pie consumed for good measure)!A great book giving us an insight into the life of a League 2 club, many in financially dire situations, relying on local wealthy fans and supporter-run groups to keep them afloat, in the life and shadow of the large Premier league franchisees.Well worth a read in my opinion, just finished it. William Barr is a fellow Norwich fan so relates to the club in this book and finishes with a chapter about Norwich City.Check out the website linked above for more info.
