He should be either used or moved on.

Or have the club messed up again by repelling Burnley''s decent bid? I hear that they''re after some Ipswich fella who doesn''t suit Keane instead.

Im hoping that Lambert is going to give Russell and Stefanovic a good kick up the @rse, they are still contracted to the club and being paid good wages, they needs to show some loyalty.  It sounds like the Burnley bid was far from adequote and it doesnt look like another is forthcoming.My first post so be gentle!

What is the evidence that they''re not being loyal?

Maybe as rerlatively high earners it''s that the club wants them off the payroll whilst they have some transfer value.

Given the evidence of the past few years I suspect that the latter is the more likely explanation.

But who knows? It seems the ordinary fans don''t.
