BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted August 18, 2009 Presumably the manner and timing of Gunns'' sacking and the spearfishing of Lambert are examples of a Delia Smith endorsed new, fresh macho approach which will seek to turn us from ''nice, little Norwich'' into a ''mean and lean footballing machine''.The Macho Solution? Will the Bowker-McNally-Lambert trio hack it?Will our season end in smiles or tears? What do you think?Me? I''m on that fence!!! (It''s well-worn I can tell you!!!)One love.OTBC

Lambo 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I think it''s a start, nothing more nothing less. We''ve now got someone calling the shots in a manner thats been needed some seasons in McNally. We''ve now got a good, young, hungry manager in Lambert. The big question now is how much do we have to make the one or two small tweaks in the squad that would see us promoted?? Scottlarock 3 Posted August 18, 2009 YesSmiles...all we need now is for Mac the knife to do a ''Gunn'' on the Doc and I''ll be ecstatic.
BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted August 18, 2009 Were we all macho and motivated and ruthless tonight?OTBC
SI 0 Posted August 18, 2009 My opinion is that the season is going to end in tears. We do not have a squad to compete for promotion. The new management team is the last hand they can play at the last resort saloon. If we are not in the pack for promotion comes March, I can only fear adminsitation and leaugue 2. I hope I don''t sound like Smudger. But it seams to be the reality we are goint to be faced.
