midfield..

With Paul Lambert being an excellent midfielder himself there''s hope that weakest part of our team (and has tactically for years) will be sorted out. Then again Gunn was a ''keeper and look at his signing of Theoklitos!

One things starting to look likely ... Gill offers little.

As much as I''m inclined to agree with that, due to our midfield being one of the worst I''ve seen in years (that includes Fotheringham!) we can''t have a player who has no regard for the club and clearly does not want to play at this level starting week in week out. Gill is rubbish. I''m sorry to say it, as I''m sure he wanted to prove a point when he came here, but we can''t afford to have someone in the midfield who passes sideways and out of play constantly and barely gets a foot on the ball! Rusty would definitely get in there, but he has been flamed on this board time and time again and I should think he''s off.

Did Lambert sell Hoolahan when he was at Livingston? I''d be interested to find out. I sometimes can''t help but think that Gunn wanted to keep him, yet our board being the money grabbing devils that they are see him as an asset to cash in on. Maybe that''s where they started having fallings out?? Lambert will HAVE to bring players in in my opinion, but we know how cash strapped NCFC are, any potential sales to fund his transfer kitty will have to be completed before we start seeing any movement. I can see us going down the loan route again......and we all know where that ends up.

As well as 4 lungs coming back to the club, he will get the midfield playing with passion and grit.
