Hypocrite

Recommended Posts

Just thinking about Delia''s insistence that someone taking over the club should have Norfolk roots and should have the best interest of the club at heart got me thinking about what her reign has bought about fot Norwich City.

Drunken outburst on the pitch at half time

Relegation

Sack a manager for a reported £600k settlement

Sack another manager

Treat Huckerby shabbily

Drunken outburst at the Norfolk Show

Sack another manager

Get relegated to the 3rd tier of football for the 1st time in 50 years

Lose 7-1, the worst home defeat in over a hundred years

Sack another manager, treat Gunn shabbily

Increase debts to record proportions

Occupy the relegation places in League One after 3 games

Poach another clubs manager

Makes you think how much worse a foreign investor would have to be to beat that lot.
I agree with all of that apart from the Hucks point.

It was Roeder and Roeder alone who was responsible for getting rid of Hucks.
So Roeder had 100% control over who the board could sack?

Huckerby wasn''t sacked, he was released at the end of his contract.

So you don''t think Delia has any say in the matter?

I''m not talking renewing of contracts, I''m talking a chance to say farewell and thank you.

Where does the buck stop?

I am sure the owners would have a say in who goes and who doesn''t.  The buck always stops at the top and at the top were the board.

Even if they never offered him a renewal of his contract, then they way they let him leave the club was an absolute bloody disgrace IMO.

We''d be bottom of league 1 if that happened.

Oh wait!
To be fair, if my dog has chosen the team with random pee squirts we would probably have more points now.
Lol as much as admire Huckerby''s contribution to the club and blame Delia (and the board) for the mess we are in, this seems a bit ridic. What do you want him paraded before the fans at the start of last season, if you hang around the club enough, you will get to thank Darren in person like a lot of us have.
