I would advocate tieing them to a tree and then stoning them.
Yeah, because that wouldn''t be a barbaric way to kill them and make Britain look like a vigilante-run hate society.
At the moment Britain is a thug-run, knife-crime haven for hooded criminals and benefit thieves.
But the worst way to deal with that, in my opinion, would be to legitimise barbaric acts under the guise of "capital punishment".  If you want to encourage people not to act violently, stoning people to death does not send the right message.
Maybe if our justice sytem was not so pathetic people wouldn''t feel like this!
100% agree Marty.

Sorry as well, knee jerk reaction I''m afraid.

Mister Chops, thank you for talking sense on a thread that looke like it was about to get over run by Daily Mail reading bigots. My thoughts go out to Callum and his family and wish both him and his mother the speediest of recoverys.
Apparently people broke into his house in bedford last night and stabbed him twice in the legs and also stabbed his mum.

He is critical.

What''s the world come to.
At the risk of taking this further off topic, what would be your punishment Mister Chops?

My thoughts are with the Davenport family at this horrific time, here''s to wishing the pair of them a speedy recovery, and the thugs are brought to justice.
I echo your thoughts being with the family, it is a horrible crime.I would try the perpetrators in a court of law for two counts attempted murder, and let''s hope it is only attempted murder, and then sentence them accordingly if proven guilty. Some of the hysterical "capital punishment" comments on this thread are amazing to me.  It''s typical of the right wing keyboard Mussolinis who pollute more and more message boards with ill thought out, knee jerk populist nonsense.  Hang em, flog em, stone em, send em back.  It didn''t work in Nazi Germany, and it won''t work here.
It''s sad really. Some are probably exaggerating for board effect but unfortunately for some, all that stops them from sparking up their torches is a thin veneer of socialisation and the law.

Ridicolous behaviour. My thoughts are with the ex-norwich man!

Im thinking it might have something to do with a rival fan or something, especially as they are playing world war 3 on tuesday, West ham vs millwall.

Surely it was either robbery or just a rival fan. Cause if it was an attempted murder, then why would you stab him in the leg? [:S]

The news of the world seem to think its to do with people who his mum is friends with. Very sad if the following is true, he may lose one of his legs.

Stabbed his legs?

Cruel bastards from that you can be 90% sure they knew he was a footballer then.

To do that to somone and potentially ruin their livelyhood also is such a low act.
Its sick isn''t it. Stabbed in the legs. These people should be shot.

Made me feel sick when I heard, what kind of a person would be able to stab someone, let alone twice!! To stab someone in each leg is truly disgusting. I hope they both make a quick and full recovery.

A quote from someone who claims to know him on a West Ham forum:''Not at all, i know him, his mrs, his sister and the family. His

artery in his left leg was cut, he has puncture wounds in his legs,

abdomin and neck, he was in a life threatining situation earlier but

has improved since then. From what i have heard i doubt he will be

playing again?

Lucky to be alive if true
