Sheffield uni Canary 0 Posted August 15, 2009 Just a thought, the timing of Gunns departure was a little bit surprising coming on the eve of a game, and after the 4-0 win against Yeovil. Anyone else think they may have someone lined up that already who has agreed to takeover and it could be announced today after the match or by the start of next week. Skint Eastwood 0 Posted August 15, 2009 If we haven''t then its a total shambles. The only other explanation of the timing of the sacking would be a "difference of opinion" between Gunn and the board since the Yeovil game.I''m hoping we have a new man already installed, someone with a proven record, and he''ll be sitting in the stands at Exeter. O.T.B.C 0 Posted August 15, 2009 He said that there is never a good time to sack a manager as we have Tues and Sat games. How about Wednesday morning, so the team has a chance to get ready, not on a flaming Friday when the squad are away.

I honestly can''t believe that McNally would make such a big move without having someone to step into the breach almost immediately he seems too smart for that. O.T.B.C 0 Posted August 15, 2009 Don''t think that BETFRED etc care too much about Delia and her gang choosing the right pies or extending the seating etc.
canaryfan68 0 Posted August 15, 2009 I think we do have somebody lined up, and if we don''t we have sent out a message that we are not messing about like in recent appointments
canary cherub 1 Posted August 15, 2009 It depends what you mean by "lined up". According to the Pinkun page they have a shortlist but haven''t actually appointed yet.
