CANARY CHARGE 0 Posted August 8, 2009 Again Gunn seems totally out of his depth, when it comes to tatics,5 -0 down at half time and still he continues with the same team! Also using holt as a target man,he is no more the 6ft,up against the colchester defenders he looked small!if we had a chance for platt why wasnt he brought??This was Gunn''s best team, with 3 defenders from last season! one of the worst defences in the league!Gill in midfeild very poor,60 mins before a change!holt and grant to simlar! Now of course its easy to stand and criticise, but he really doesnt have a clue! please step aside and give us a chance! Chelmsford Canary 0 Posted August 8, 2009 Up for a slating here - but we all know Gunn is not a coach? He is a manger - surely the coaches (Crook and Butterworth) should be coming up with tactics?
The Great Wall Of Tettey 0 Posted August 8, 2009 also we looked very cramped. hoolahan and whaley closed in to centre, leaving otj and jones with nobody to pass too ! id play cody with holt, and then try and play more through the park, were not a target man team. Downloads 35 Posted August 8, 2009 Agree, but coming inside is okay when you are expecting the fullback to get forwards. The main problem was when Otsemabor made his big error he then didn''t get forward much as he was probably worrying about making another. One error and peoples confidence and attitude can change completely.

Syteanric 1 Posted August 8, 2009 Neither Whaley nor Semmy seemed to have any clue who was doing what! Whaley was at full back at one point when semmy was on the wing.. there was too much space between them.. they didnt seem to communicate.it was like having 9 men.jas :)
Mtv 0 Posted August 8, 2009 Watch the game!!!! Hoolihan was playing behind Holt not on the wing...Martin was playing on the right. Hoolihan went out there when Martin went off.But that is bloody nit picking......it would''nt have made any difference who played where. With the way the keeper and the defence played we could have had THAT PORTUGESE WINKER UP FRONT AND WE WOULD HAVE STILL LOST.
