Best RB - Nedergaard, Edworthy, Helveg, Colin, Velasco, Omozusi, Otsemobor or Spillane?

Recommended Posts

We''ve had some turnips at right-back over the years!

And thats not including Louis-Jean, Rossi Jarvis or Cave-Brown...

The title suggests the past, present and possible future, but who was the best and who was the worst of that lot?

1. Nedergaard
2. Edworthy
3. Helveg
4. Colin
Joint last - Otsemobor and Omozusi.

Spillane and Velasco would be unfair to judge.

Best was clearly Edworthy and Nedergaard, Helveg could have been could just a couple of years too late. Worst has to be Louis Jean.

Honourable mentions go to Velasco Jarvis and Cave-Brown (did they even play a game for us?)

That is chronological order, so unless Spillane likes to buck the trend, perhaps he would adapt to a new position!

in all this time weve had 1 permanent left back, Drury.

Bar Lappin and Brennan, who both could/can play midfield,

Yeah but Bertrand was first choice for 2 seasons.

That''s the one. Still remains my favourite ever Norwich player. Another great Rastaman shout [;)]

Actually yes. His performance at right back against Derby was one of ht best I''ve seen in a long while. Such a versatile footballer.

Would he have been brought in if Drury was fit though?

The best right back we ever had was in the dugout for Colchester on Saturday: Ian Culverhouse. (I know he''s not on the list, but, still, he was awesome).
